
U-M to Close Out Conference Slate Against No. 13 Ohio State

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 7-ranked University of Michigan women's swimming and diving team (3-1, 1-1 Big Ten) returns home to Canham Natatorium to take on No. 13 Ohio State (5-0, 1-0 Big Ten) on Saturday (Jan. 18) at noon. The meet will be streamed live on B1G+.
Notes
• Last time out, Michigan fell to No. 6 Indiana 160-103 last Friday (Jan. 10) in Bloomington.
• Rebecca Diaconescu won the 1,000-yard freestyle and placed second in the 500-yard freestyle against Indiana to earn Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors on Wednesday (Jan. 15).
• Lindsay Flynn posted her best 50-yard freestyle time against the Hoosiers at 21.89 seconds. The mark ranks third in the Big Ten. Flynn also clocked a 47.83 in the 100-yard freestyle last time out, good for fourth in the conference.
• Hannah Bellard outraced the field in the 200-yard butterfly in Bloomington, logging a winning time of 1:55.31. Bellard's best time of 1:53.45 ranks third in the Big Ten.
• Stephanie Balduccini maintains her conference lead in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 47.33.
• Letitia Sim logged a season-best mark in the 200-yard breaststroke against Indiana, touching the wall at 2:11.77.
• Kiarra Milligan posted a season-best score in the one-meter dive at 313.05, good for seventh in the Big Ten.
• Michigan will face Ohio State for the 35th time, with the Wolverines leading the all-time series 27-7.
