DEXTER, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's cross country team closed out the regular season on Friday (Oct. 24) at the EMU Fall Classic, placing its two runners in the top 10.

A pair of Wolverines took to the course, with Coraline Haggarty finishing eighth (18:04.2) and Alyna Lewis finishing just behind in ninth (18:05.6). Both runners posted personal-best performances.

Michigan will open the postseason next Friday (Oct. 31) at 11:35 a.m. at the Big Ten Championships hosted by Michigan State in East Lansing.
