
Michigan to Travel to CSCAA Dual Meet Challenge, Face Tennessee in Opening Round

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 11-ranked University of Michigan men's swimming and diving team (5-0) will travel to Knoxville, Tenn., to take part in the CSCAA Dual Meet Challenge at the Allen Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center, Friday through Sunday (Nov. 21-23). The Wolverines will open the four-team tournament against No. 9-ranked Tennessee (1-2) on Friday at 6 p.m. All three days will be streamed live on SEC Network+.
Notes
• Michigan enters its midseason meet with an undefeated record of 5-0 after defeating Oakland and Pittsburgh on Nov. 7.
• Luka Mladenovic shined last time out, winning three individual events to capture Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors for the second time this season. He checks in with two top-16 national marks in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke.
• Tyler Ray ranks 13th in the nation in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 45.75 seconds. Ray is just one of three swimmers in the Big Ten with a time faster than 46 seconds.
• Ole Eidam checks in at third in the Big Ten in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 43.14.
• Eitan Ben-Shitrit ranks ninth in the conference in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:42.92.
• In diving, Julian Cardenas leads the way in the one-meter dive with a season-best mark of 322.45, which ranks 10th in the Big Ten.
• U-M will face Tennessee for the third time in program history, with the series tied at one win each.
• With a win, the Wolverines would face the winner of the meet between No. 2-ranked Arizona State and Virginia on Saturday (Nov. 22) at noon. If U-M loses, it would face the loser of that same meet on Saturday at 3 p.m.
