ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 10-ranked University of Michigan men's swimming and diving team (3-0, 2-0 Big Ten) will welcome Oakland (2-1) and Pittsburgh (2-0) on Friday (Nov. 7) at 3 p.m. at Canham Natatorium. The meet will be streamed on B1G+.
Notes
• Michigan knocked off Northwestern by a score of 186-114 on Oct. 25 inside Canham to move to 3-0 on the season.
• Luka Mladenovic is off to a strong start in his freshman season, earning Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors on Oct. 29. Mladenovic ranks sixth in the nation in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 51.86.
• Tyler Ray was dominant against Northwestern, winning the 100- and 200-yard butterfly events. Ray's 100-yard butterfly time of 45.75 ranks 10th in the country.
• Junior Colin Geer is second in the Big Ten in the 200-yard IM with a time of 1:46.58.
• Ole Eidam currently ranks fifth in the Big Ten in the 50-yard freestyle with a mark of 19.77.
• Michigan will square off with Oakland for the 21st time, having won all 20 previous meetings.
• U-M will face Pittsburgh for the seventh time and owns an undefeated record of 6-0 in the series.
• Following the dual meet, Michigan will travel to Knoxville, Tenn., for the CSCAA Dual Meet Challenge on Nov. 20-23.
