Notes
• The Wolverines rank inside the top-25 on all four individual events: vault (21st), uneven bars (22nd), balance beam (10th) and floor exercise (11th). Graduate student Carly Bauman also ranks inside the top 20 on the uneven bars coming in at No. 23 and floor coming in at No. 21.
• Bauman also added another title, tying a career-best 9.925 on floor. She paced a rotation that continued to build on its scores from the start and solidify the Wolverines' comeback win over Ohio State.
• This weekend's meet is the 10th annual Flip for Chip meet in which the Michigan women's gymnastics team honors the life of Chip Hills, father of former Michigan gymnast Cailee Hills. The Wolverines have a 9-0 record in Flip for Chip meets, defeating Georgia in 2024 and Minnesota in 2023 when they set a program record 49.625 on the beam.
• Sophomore Kayli Boozer earned the beam title against Ohio State with a 9.950 and placed second on floor with a 9.900. Both scores were career highs for Boozer and the beam title was the second straight for the Texarkana, Texas, native as she also won a share of the beam title at Washington.
• Senior Jacey Vore has found her groove this season, winning her third straight event title for the Maize and Blue. She recorded a 9.875 on the uneven bars with a stuck landing to add to her two beam titles at Michigan State and Washington.
• Michigan used its beam and floor lineups to come back from a slight deficit against Ohio State at the halfway point of the meet. The Wolverines put together matching 49.350s on both events with a career high from Boozer on the beam and four career highs on the floor.
• Freshman Peyton Davis continues to improve as she notched a career-best 9.800 on the vault to lead off the meet and scored a career-best 9.825 on the floor in the second spot in the lineup.
• Fans will have three more chances to catch the Wolverines in action at Crisler Center. Michigan will host two final regular-season meets with UCLA and Alabama before welcoming fans for three sessions of the Big Ten Championships in March.
• Michigan will hit the road for its fourth Big Ten meet of the season on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 5 p.m. when it takes on Rutgers in Piscataway, N.J.
