Three Wolverines in Top 20, U-M Sits Third after 36 Holes of Purdue Invitational

» Playing its final nine holes at five-under par, Michigan jumped two spots after a second-round 274 (-10) and is positioned third (556, -12) after 36 holes of the Boilermaker Invitational at the Ackerman-Allen Golf Course.
» Hunter Thomson leads the Wolverines after 36 holes as his 136 (-6, 70-66) has him tied for fourth.
» After an opening 73, Yuqi Liu posted six birdies on the front nine of his second round to fire a career-low 65 (-7) -- tying the third-lowest round in program history. With his 138 (-4) total, he is tied for eighth.
» Using his 6-iron from 225 yards, Dean Muratore recorded a hole-in-one on the par-3 17th hole. With his 142 (69-73) total, he is tied for 31st.
