ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's track and field team will split between a pair of meets for the second straight weekend, this week heading to the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pa., from Thursday through Saturday (April 24-26) and to the Grand Valley State Extra Weekend Meet in Allendale, Mich., on Saturday (April 26).
Director of track and field and cross country Kevin Sullivan will be inducted to the Penn Relays Wall of Fame on Saturday at 3 p.m. He will be honored for his performance at the 1998 Penn Relays, where he anchored the distance medley relay team (9:27.64) and split 3:55.50 to secure the win for Michigan. The win was U-M's first in the event since 1960. Sullivan is the sixth Wolverine individual or team to be recognized, most recently with the 2007 4x1,500-meter relay team inducted in 2023.
