Notes
• New to the broadcast this year, Saturday's heats will be streamed live on B1G+ and the FOX Sports App, while Sunday's finals will air live on Big Ten Network. Dean Linke and former U.S. Olympian Grace Latz will serve as hosts, while former Iowa head coach Mandi Kowal will provide play-by-play. Former All-American and Wolverine Caroline Hendershot will conduct interviews with coaches and athletes throughout the coverage.
• U-M is seeking its third straight Big Ten title, fifth in the last six seasons (2019, '21, '23-'24; 2020 not contested), and 10th in program history.
• In its title-winning 2024 campaign, Michigan earned a team total of 189 points, the most in a Big Ten Championship since the Wolverines' 2021 title-winning performance (191) and the third most all-time.
• After being held at Devil's Lake in Baraboo, Wis., a year ago, the conference title event returns to Eagle Creek Park for the 12th time. All championships have taken place in either Baraboo or Indianapolis since 2011.
• For the first time since 2017, the Big Ten Championships regatta will be held over two days -- Saturday for heats and Sunday for finals. The top-three finishing teams in each race during Saturday's heats will qualify for championship races on Sunday, while the remaining boats will compete in finals for places 7-11.
• Saturday's races will begin at 8 a.m. while Sunday's finals will start at 9 a.m., with an awards ceremony set for 1 p.m. following the conclusion of the event's final races.
• The Wolverines enter championship weekend with 25 of 51 athletes who competed in last year's conference title races returning to compete in 2025, including four of nine athletes from the 1V8 boat that captured gold last spring.
• Michigan is ranked third highest nationally (No. 10) among all programs in the field, behind No. 2 Washington and No. 7 Rutgers. Other ranked programs include No. 16 Indiana, No. 17 Ohio State, No. 23 USC, and No. 25 UCLA.
