ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 10-ranked University of Michigan women's gymnastics team (3-1, 0-1 B1G) is set to host No. 24 Iowa (4-2, 1-0 B1G) on Saturday (Jan. 24) at 3:45 p.m. at Crisler Center in the 10th annual Flip for Chip Meet. The meet will stream on B1G+.

• This weekend marks the 10th annual Flip for Chip Meet, honoring the life of Chip Hills, father of former Michigan gymnast Cailee Hills. Michigan is 9-0 all-time in Flip for Chip meets, most recently defeating Nebraska during the 2025 season and Georgia during the 2024 season.
• Michigan enters week four of the season ranked No. 10 nationally and No. 1 in the nation on beam. The Wolverines also rank inside the top 10 on uneven bars (No. 8), while ranking 19th on vault and 23rd on floor. Individually, Kayli Boozer is tied for second nationally on beam after earning her second straight beam title with a 9.950 at Minnesota. Carly Bauman is tied for 16th nationally on uneven bars, while Quincy Walters is tied for 16th on beam.
• Boozer captured her second straight beam title and now has five beam titles in her Michigan career. The sophomore earned a 9.950 for the second consecutive week at Minnesota, giving her five career beam scores of 9.900 or better, including three 9.950s.
• Sophomore Sophie Parenti earned her first career 9.900 on beam while competing in the leadoff spot at Minnesota. Parenti has also competed on uneven bars and floor for the Wolverines during the first two meets of the season.
• Freshman Myli Lew made her collegiate debut on vault at Minnesota and earned her second appearance in the lineup on uneven bars. Senior Lily Clapper made her second appearance on uneven bars in week two and stuck her landing for the second straight meet.
• In the season opener, Michigan set a program beam record with a 49.650 at the Sprouts Farmers Collegiate Quad, surpassing the previous record of 49.625 set in 2023. The Wolverines recorded back-to-back 9.950s in collegiate debuts from Walters and Jordan, followed by Boozer's third 9.950 of the rotation. Bauman anchored with a 9.925.
• The 2026 season marks Michigan's 50th year as a program. Since its inception in 1976, Michigan has won 27 Big Ten titles, eight Big Ten regular-season titles and the 2021 national championship. Over 50 seasons, the Wolverines have produced 212 All-America citations from 53 athletes, 114 individual Big Ten champions and 15 Big Ten Gymnast of the Year honors. Michigan has eclipsed the 198.000 team score 12 times, including a program-best 198.525 in 2022.
• Michigan remains at Crisler Center on Sunday (Feb. 1), hosting Michigan State at 3:45 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
