
Michigan to Take on No. 6 Boston College at Atlanta Lacrosse Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The No. 12-ranked University of Michigan women's lacrosse team (2-1) travels to Atlanta, Ga., for the Atlanta Lacrosse Invitational, where it will take on No. 6 Boston College (0-2) at 3 p.m. on Saturday (Feb. 21) at BT Harvey Stadium on the campus of Morehouse College. The game is set to be streamed live on B1G+.
Notes
• The Wolverines rank No. 12 nationally in the latest IWLCA Coaches Poll, moving up five spots after sweeping the weekend in Florida. Michigan is 1-1 against ranked opponents this season and will take on its third ranked opponent of the season in No. 6 Boston College.
• Junior Emma Bradbury was named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week and the USA Lacrosse Magazine Player of the Week on Tuesday (Feb. 17) after pacing Michigan to two wins in the Sunshine State, including a win over No. 5 Florida. Bradbury scored eight goals in two games while adding three assists for a total of 11 points on the week. She recorded a career-best nine points against USF, scoring a career-high six goals against the Bulls. She also put all seven of her shots on cage and had one caused turnover. Bradbury helped lead Michigan past Florida to start the week, scoring two goals on four shots.
• Michigan erased two deficits this past weekend to return to Ann Arbor with two victories, including one over No. 5 Florida. The Wolverines first fell behind 3-0 in the first quarter against Florida. The game featured four ties and two lead changes, including a 10-10 deadlock with 13:50 remaining in the fourth. Bradbury scored the game-winner with 9:19 left, picking up a rebound and finishing into the back of the cage. Sophomore Brynne Grant added an insurance goal with 3:22 remaining as U-M snapped Florida's 10-game home winning streak.
• For the second straight game, Michigan rallied from a multi-goal deficit against South Florida, trailing by as many as four on two occasions. The Wolverines tied the contest with 10 minutes remaining in the third quarter, took the lead with one minute left in the period and never trailed again, outscoring USF 6-1 in the fourth quarter to secure the win.
• Freshman Elizabeth Johnson was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week on Feb. 10 after her collegiate debut in goal against No. 25 Notre Dame. She stopped 15 shots to rank fourth all-time in Michigan single-game history. Johnson made eight saves, four in each quarter, in the first half and added two ground balls to her stat line.
• Graduate student Ava Class and senior Grace Callahan were named to the 2026 Tewaaraton Watch List on Feb. 10. Callahan earned a spot on the list for the second straight season, while it is the first appearance for Class. Callahan ranks seventh all-time with 55 caused turnovers and eighth with 85 ground balls. Class has 60 career points, with 45 goals and 15 assists.
• Michigan will open the 2026 home season Saturday (Feb. 28) when it hosts Yale for a 1 p.m. contest at U-M Lacrosse Stadium. The game is set to be streamed live on B1G+.
