ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's track and field team set a pair of top-10 program times at the Alex Wilson Invitational on Saturday (Feb. 21) at the Loftus Sports Center to close out the regular-season indoor campaign.
The distance medley relay squad of Stephanie Bertram, Sidney Green, Emmry Ross and Penelopea Gordon won with a time of 10:55.03, the No. 2 mark in program history. The performance is just 0.56 seconds shy of the school record.
Coraline Haggarty (1:30.24) and Alyna Lewis (1:34.01) competed in the 600-meter dash, finishing second and fifth, respectively. Haggarty's time was a personal best and ranks No. 10 in program history.
The Maize and Blue open the postseason Thursday (Feb. 26) at the Big Ten Championships in Indianapolis, Ind.
