Notes
• Michigan opens the month of March by hosting No. 20 Duke in Ann Arbor for the first time since Feb. 3, 2018. U-M has three all-time wins against the Blue Devils.
• Duke earned a 4-3 decision in Durham last season, taking the doubles point to start the match. U-M tied the contest at 3-3 behind a win from Jessica Bernales at No. 6, but Duke claimed a three-set match at No. 4 to secure the victory.
• The Wolverines are coming off a 7-0 win at Xavier (Feb. 24) in their first road match of the season. U-M took the doubles point and won five of six singles matches in straight sets to record its second victory.
• After this match, U-M will transition to Big Ten play. Michigan has one non-conference match remaining, facing Ohio State on April 1 at the Varsity Tennis Center.
• Lily Jones became the first Wolverine to reach the 20-win mark in singles this year after recording a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2 in Michigan's win over Penn (Jan. 24). She is 22-6 on the season, reaching 20 wins for the fourth straight year. Jones picked up the 100th win of her career during the NCAA Singles Championship and is now tied for ninth all-time at Michigan with 106 singles wins.
• Michigan has five ranked singles players in Piper Charney (No. 12), Jones (No. 20), Reese Miller (No. 83), Bernales (No. 85) and Emily Sartz-Lunde (No. 104). Bernales, Sartz-Lunde and Bayley Sheinin each picked up their first dual-match singles win in Michigan's 7-0 shutout of Xavier (Feb. 24).
• Michigan is 2-0 this season when winning the doubles point. U-M has a pair of ranked doubles teams in No. 34 Jones/Bernales and No. 68 Charney/Sartz-Lunde.
