ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 17-ranked University of Michigan rowing team will host a double dual-style regatta and senior day celebration this Saturday (April 25) at Belleville Lake. The two-session event will include four teams and be followed by a ceremony that honors the Wolverines' 10 graduating athletes.
Notes
• U-M remained at No. 17 in the CRCA Poll after competing in the 19-team Big Ten Invitational in Sacramento, Calif., this past weekend (April 18-19).
• Michigan welcomes No. 6 Princeton, No. 10 Syracuse, and No. 16 Ohio State for its second of two home events this season. U-M will race against the Tigers and Buckeyes in the morning session, and the Orange and Buckeyes in the afternoon.
• Each of U-M's championship boats will compete twice on Saturday -- 1V8, 2V8, 1V4, 2V4, 3V4, 3V8, 4V8.
• This weekend marks the first time the Wolverines have held a multi-team event at home in five years. In 2021, U-M hosted Iowa and Louisville for a late-season regatta, which saw the Maize and Blue claim victory in all of its races.
• After races conclude, Michigan will host a ceremony that celebrates its 10 graduating seniors on the deck of the Michigan Boathouse.
