» With a closing 72 (+1), senior Lauren Sung earned a top-20 finish, tying for 15th with a 216 (+3) 54-hole total at the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional played at U-M Golf Course.
» Posting her sixth top-20 finish of the season and fourth of the spring, Sung closed the regional with 38 pars, seven birdies, eight bogeys and one double bogey.
» In her third regional appearance and first as an individual, Sung closed her career having started 37 of 41 events while posting a 74.56 scoring average and a 223.50 54-hole average.
» From the Ann Arbor regional, USC, Ohio State, Duke, Northwestern and Texas Tech all earned top five finishes to advance to the NCAA Finals at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, Calif. Individually, Minnesota's Isabella McCauley advanced as the individual.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Closing with eight straight pars and a birdie on her final hole, senior Lauren Sung of the University of Michigan women's gof team carded a final-round 72 (+1) to earn a top-20 finish at the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional, tying for 15th with a 216 (+3) 54-hole total at U-M Golf Course. Sung narrowly missed advancing to the NCAA Finals, bringing her career in the maize and blue to a close.
Advancing out of the Ann Arbor Regional were USC (853, +1), Ohio State (858, +6), Duke (868, +16), Northwestern (869, +17) and Texas Tech (874, +22). Minnesota's Isabella McCauley (210, -3) advanced individually to the NCAA Finals, scheduled for May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa.
In addition to Northwestern advancing as a team, Ashley Yun (66-69-73) earned regional medalist honors with a 208 (-5) total, while Elise Lee (209, -4) and Dianna Lee (209, -4) shared runner-up honors.
Starting the final round on the U-M Golf Course's back nine for the second time in three days, Sung answered an early bogey on the par-4 13th with a birdie on No. 15. A pair of bogeys on Nos. 17 and 18 sent her to the turn at two-over par.
Following the turn, Sung settled in and delivered one final steady stretch, carding eight straight pars before closing her regional and collegiate career with a birdie on the ninth hole for a one-over 72. With a 54-hole total of 216 (+3), Sung tied for 15th overall and secured her sixth top-20 finish of the season.
With Sung not advancing, Michigan's 2025-26 season has concluded.
