Danielle Edwards is in her second season as the director of player personnel for the Michigan women's basketball program in 2020-21, assisting with the day-to-day operations of the program.
Edwards joins Michigan after a decorated collegiate career at Clemson, where she graduated first in career starts (123), third in career steals (291), fourth in career steals per game (2.38) and 14th in career scoring (1,274). She was one of three players in program history to reach 1,000 career points, 300 career assists and 250 career steals. Edwards was a two-time ACC All-Defensive Team selection (2018, 2019) and a four-time ACC All-Academic Team honoree, the only four-time selection in Clemson program history.
Edwards also has spent time working multiple basketball camps and was an intern for both the Clemson University Communications Department during the fall of 2017 and the Athletic Communications Department from during the 2018 academic year.
She participated in the 2019 WBCA's So You Want to Be a Coach program and graduated from Clemson with a degree in sports communication. Edwards was also active in Clemson's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (2015-19) and served as team captain for the Tigers.
