Hausmann Signs with Wolverines During Early Period

"Megan is a big, strong girl," said head coach Amber Drury-Pinto. "Her size and ability are really going to solidify our two-meter position. We are thrilled that she is going to join our program."
Haussman has been a member of back-to-back California Interscholastic Federation water polo championship teams and league championship teams (2000, '01). Hausmann was voted to the all-CIF team and all-league second teams in 2001 and is a four-year letterwinner in water polo and volleyball. The two-year honor roll student is currently competing for the state volleyball championship with Bishop High School.
The Wolverines kick off the 2002 season by hosting the Michigan Invitational (Jan. 26-27) before heading to the Princeton Tournament (Feb. 16-17) in Princeton, N.J. Last season, the first for U-M as a varsity program, the Wolverines finished with a 21-11-1 record and a No. 15 ranking.
