Q U O T E S
Michigan Coach Kathy Teichert
On Anteater Invitational ... "Overall, I would have to say that the tournament has given us an opportunity to learn from our mistakes so that we can get better. Part of our team is still learning how to stay patient, remain focused, be emotionally and physically there, and I think we just haven't put it all together from those perspectives."
On where Michigan finished in the tournament ... "I think going in I felt like we could win the tournament. Looking back, I still feel the same thing. Going in today, we were just five shots behind Brigham Young, and I really thought we could have beat them today. It was in our grasp, but it just didn't fall when we needed it to fall."
On the play of Brianna Broderick ... "Brianna was playing very consistent throughout the tournament. She wants to be better and is showing signs of better play."
Freshman Brianna Broderick
On her performance ... "I think my game is really coming around. I am beginning to play with more confidence. I am very excited to continue with the season."
On the team's performance ... "The team played pretty well. We were all upset by the last round, because we think we could have played better. But all in all, I think we played well."
Junior Laura Olin
On the team's performance ... "We played the best we have all year as far as consistency. We shot all three rounds under 310, but we made a lot of crucial mistakes that cost us second or third place. But I think we learned a lot."
