Today's game was Michigan's third contest this season against a ranked opponent. The Wolverines played then-No. 12 Texas A&M on Nov. 20 before taking on then-No. 13 Vanderbilt on Nov. 23, a game in which Michigan pulled off a 50-42 upset of the Commodores.
Michigan will face two more ranked opponents, including Notre Dame, currently No. 10, on Dec. 10, and Ohio State, currently No. 18, on Dec. 21.

For the first time in three games, Benson did not lead the Wolverines in scoring and was not in double figures.
