Michigan Head Coach Kathy Teichert
On the tournament weekend... "I am really pleased with the way we played. We had a few mistakes early, but we also had some key contributions from different people and that is always an encouraging sign. There is no question about it, we are very happy with the way Ashley (Bauer) played this tournament. She continues to build her confidence with each passing round. This golf course was scoreable. We needed to play well with our irons and our putting. The ball striking was there, but unfortunately we just didn't putt as well as we would have liked. We missed some birdie opportunities. But again, I was really pleased we got better with each round. It shows there was some improvement and some adjustments made. Correcting our mistakes during a tournament is going to be key for us as we come down to the end here with only the Indiana event on the schedule before Big Tens."
