Michigan Head Coach Cheryl Stacy
On the Irish Invitational ... "I was really pleased with the Yeanny (Min Yean Tan) and Meagan (Bauer) played this weekend. Especially with Meagan, she really put together a good final round today, posting five birdies and just two double bogeys. So it was great to see her really put it together. It was the back half of the lineup did not play as well as we would have hoped. They really struggled on the backside today. We need to really learn how to finish better and work on not letting the emotions get to us. We have some work to do, but there were some bright spots this weekend. We just have to get rid of some of our bigger numbers. I had two freshmen and a sophomore in the lineup so we did not expect really low numbers, but the experience they gained was great. We will continue to build on the positives and continue to allow the young players to get out there and get the experience they need to keep improving."
