• Michigan fell to 4-2 at the Big Ten/BIG EAST Challenge. The Wolverines were 4-0 at the 2009 event.
• Michigan dropped to 5-4 in the all-time series and 1-1 at the Big Ten/BIG EAST Challenge against the Red Storm.
• Freshman OF Patrick Biondi collected U-M's first hit against St. John's with his fourth-inning single. Biondi, who has a three-game hitting streak, has hits in five of Michigan's six games this season.
• Senior/junior 2B Anthony Toth was 0-for-2 with a pair of walks against St. John's as his team-leading five-game hitting streak was snapped.
