• Freshman LF Tyler Mills earned his first career start today.

• Senior RHP Alan Oaks dropped his earned run average to 2.70, tops among U-M starting pitchers. He also leads the team in innings pitched (20) and shares the U-M strikeout lead (12) with junior RHP Tyler Burgoon.

• Senior 1B Mike Dufek was 2-for-4 for his fourth multi-hit game of the season and the 31st of his career.

• Senior C Chris Berset extended his hitting streak to four games with a ninth-inning single.

• Freshman CF Patrick Biondi's third-inning single extended his hitting streak to a team-leading six games. Biondi has hits in eight of U-M's nine games this season.

• Sophomore OF/C Coley Crank and senior/junior 2B Anthony Toth both extended their hitting streaks to four games.
