• Senior C Chris Berset made his 100th career start for Michigan.
• Berset's ninth-inning home run, his second of the season and seventh career blast, extended his hitting streak to five games.
• Freshman CF Patrick Biondi singled to lead off Saturday's game at UNC, extending his team-leading hitting streak to seven games. He has hits in nine of U-M's 10 games this season.
• Biondi was 4-for-4 with a walk for his first four-hit game and fourth multi-hit game of the season.
• Freshman SS Derek Dennis was 2-for-5 with a double for his third multi-hit game of his career.
• Sophomore DH Coley Crank collected his team-leading fourth double of the season. Crank has a five-game hitting streak and has hits in eight of U-M's 10 games this season.
• Senior RF Nick Urban's fourth-inning run scoring-single extended his hitting streak to three games. Urban was 2-for-4, giving him 15 career multi-hit games.
