Freshman SS Travis Maezes, who is hitting .307 (55-for-179), was 2-for-5 with a double and run scored. Maezes is second on the team with 15 multi-hit games.
Junior OF Michael O'Neill, who is hitting .342 (66-for-193), was 2-for-5 with a pair of singles, one run scored, one run batted in and his team-leading 18th stolen base of the season.
O'Neill leads the team with a career-best 23 multi-hit games in 2013, and he has 55 career multiple-hit games.
O'Neill has hits in 37 of the 46 games this season and in 41 of his last 50 games in the past two seasons.
With O'Neill's stolen base, he has a team-leading total of 18 stolen bases for the season, moving his career total to 67. O'Neill is fourth on U-M's career stolen base list -- seven behind Jim Durham (74 steals, 1986-89) in third place.
Senior captain CF Patrick Biondi, who is hitting .316 (42-for-133), was 1-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored. Biondi scored two runs, giving him 31 runs scored in 2013 to push his career total to 180 runs to rank second on U-M's career runs scored list. The record is 190 runs scored by Casey Close (1983-86).
