• Michigan was shut out for the second time this season. The Wolverines fell to Houston, 1-0, in 10 innings on Feb. 22.

• Kyle Jusick extended his hitting streak to eight games with two hits at North Carolina State. Jusick is now hitting .429 (12-of-28) on the season.

• Trent Szkutnik struck out a season-high six batters in the North Carolina State outing. He now has 11 strikeouts in 17.1 innings pitched.

• This was the first-ever meeting between Michigan and North Carolina State.

• Today's game was the first of 10 games in 10 days for the Wolverines.
