Michigan played its longest game of the season in terms of innings played (12).
Freshman Brett Adcock leads the team with five wins after striking out six Boilermakers in four innings of work.
Sophomore Jacob Cronenworth picked up his 15th career save. Cronenworth is now tied for fourth place on Michigan's career saves list with Tyler Steketee (1995-98) and Greg Everson (1985-87).
Junior Jackson Glines recorded his 14th multi-hit game of the season, going 3-for-6.
Glines has reached base in 12 straight contests.
Sophomore Travis Maezes has now reached base in 11 straight games but had his 10-game hitting streak snapped.
Freshman Carmen Benedetti now has four multi-RBI performances. Benedetti has eight hits in his last three contests.
Michigan has won four of its last five games against Purdue. It is U-M's first-ever game against the Boilermakers at Alexander Field.
