The Wolverines snap a three-game losing streak and a six-game home skid.
Logan McAnallen has struck out eight and allowed 13 hits in 17.1 innings pitched in his last three starts, earning wins at Purdue (April 20) and today against Nebraska (April 27).
Jacob Cronenworth picks up his 16th career save for the Maize and Blue. Cronenworth is now tied for third place with John Arvai (1993-96) on U-M's career saves list.
Cronenworth also is tied with Nebraska's Josh Roeder for the Big Ten saves lead with nine.
Travis Maezes has now reached base in 17 straight games after his single in the first inning.
Carmen Benedetti tied his career high with three hits in the Nebraska win. Benedetti also had three hits at Illinois (April 12) and at Purdue (April 18).
