Michigan played a seven-inning doubleheader on Friday (Feb. 27) due to the weather forecast in Port St. Lucie for the weekend.
Michigan won both ends of a doubleheader for the first time since March 10, 2013, when Michigan defeated Holy Cross and San Diego in the same day.
Senior Jackson Glines has a hit in all nine games for Michigan this season. Glines is hitting .500 (18-for-36) on the year and had two hits in both games of the doubleheader sweep of Siena.
Freshman Bryan Pall earned his first career win on the mound, pitching 2.2 innings of relief with a pair of strikeouts.
Junior Travis Maezes belted his seventh career home run in game one of the doubleheader vs. Siena. Maezes had not taken an at-bat in a game since Feb. 14 at Long Beach State.
The Wolverines sent 11 men to the plate in the 6-0 win in game two. It was the first time this season the Maize and Blue batted around in an inning.
Senior Dominic Jamett picked up his first hit of the season, a sixth-inning single in the 6-0 win in the nightcap.
Sophomore Hector Gutierrez made his first appearance of the season in the 6-0 nightcap. Gutierrez came in to play at third base in the top of the sixth.
