• Michigan played a seven-inning doubleheader on Friday (Feb. 27) due to the weather forecast in Port St. Lucie for the weekend.
• Michigan won both ends of a doubleheader for the first time since March 10, 2013, when Michigan defeated Holy Cross and San Diego in the same day.
• Senior Jackson Glines has a hit in all nine games for Michigan this season. Glines is hitting .500 (18-for-36) on the year and had two hits in both games of the doubleheader sweep of Siena.
• Freshman Bryan Pall earned his first career win on the mound, pitching 2.2 innings of relief with a pair of strikeouts.
• Junior Travis Maezes belted his seventh career home run in game one of the doubleheader vs. Siena. Maezes had not taken an at-bat in a game since Feb. 14 at Long Beach State.
• The Wolverines sent 11 men to the plate in the 6-0 win in game two. It was the first time this season the Maize and Blue batted around in an inning.
• Senior Dominic Jamett picked up his first hit of the season, a sixth-inning single in the 6-0 win in the nightcap.
• Sophomore Hector Gutierrez made his first appearance of the season in the 6-0 nightcap. Gutierrez came in to play at third base in the top of the sixth.
