• Junior Cody Bruder has a 15-game reached-base streak after his single in the eighth. Bruder also has a seven-game hitting streak.

• Junior Jacob Cronenworth has reached base in 19 straight games after his walk to lead off the game.

• Nebraska now leads the all-time series 10-7.

• Freshman Ryan Nutof struck out a career-high seven batters. His previous high was five on two occasions, including last weekend at Kansas.

• Sophomore Carmen Benedetti hit his team-leading eighth double in the third inning, bringing in Michigan's only run.
