Michigan's pitching staff struck out 27 batters in the doubleheader split with Minnesota. U-M now has 339 strikeouts on the season, which is second in the Big Ten.
Michigan played its eighth doubleheader of the season today at Minnesota.
Senior Jackson Glines and junior Jacob Cronenworth both have 19 multi-hit games this season after the doubleheader split with Minnesota.
Freshman Jake Bivens had his 25-game reached base streak snapped in the first game of the doubleheader. Bivens did had a pair of hits in the game two win.
Junior Jacob Cronenworth struck out eight batters in the first game of the doubleheader against Minnesota. That mark is one off a career high.
Junior Cody Bruder had five hits in today's doubleheader split with Minnesota. Bruder is hitting .308 on the season.
Fifth-year senior Kendall Patrick belted his third home run of the season, driving in a pair of runs in the nightcap of the doubleheader at Minnesota. Patrick now has six home runs in his Michigan career.
