Michigan tied a season high with 19 runs in today's win over Northwestern. Michigan also had 19 runs on March 7 in the win over Toledo.
Sophomore Carmen Benedetti walked in the third inning, extending his reached-base streak to 28 games.
Junior Jacob Cronenworth was a home run away from the cycle, as he doubled in the first, singled in the second and tripled in the fourth.
Freshman Jake Bivens set a career high with five hits in today's win over Northwestern. Bivens went 8-for-12 in the series.
Senior Jackson Glines set a season high with four runs batted in in today's win. His career best is five at Florida Gulf Coast on March 4, 2014.
Michigan sent 14 men to the plate in the sixth inning as Bivens and Johnny Slater had two hits in the frame. Junior Cody Bruder did that on Friday night. Before that, a Wolverine had not accomplished that feat since 2010.
Sophomore Brett Adcock struck out four batters in six innings of work in today's win over Northwestern. He now has 72 strikeouts on the season.
