• Michigan picked up its 30th win of the season in Friday's victory over Northwestern. It is the second straight season the Maize and Blue has won 30 games in a year.

• Benedetti becomes the 16th Wolverine in program history to have 60 runs batted in in a season. He is tied with Brock Koman (2001) for 15th place on the single-season RBI list.

• Junior Jacob Cronenworth belted his team-best sixth home run of the season. Cronenworth now has 10 career home runs with the Maize and Blue.

• Michigan scored a run in the first inning, upping its season total to 50 in the first frame.

• Michigan falls to 22-3 when leading after the seventh inning.
