The No. 10-ranked University of Michigan rowing team meets top-ranked Washington and No. 3-ranked Texas this weekend on Lake Las Vegas in Henderson, Nevada. The 2,000-meter races will feature NCAA boats in competition.
With three top-10 programs in the mix, the rowing community will be eagerly awaiting the results of this weekend's regatta on Lake Las Vegas. Not only are these teams highly ranked on the 2018 season, but they also represent three of the top-four teams from last year's NCAA Championships. These perennial powers are ready for another showdown, and this Saturday's races may serve as a preview for a rematch at the NCAA Championship Grand Final.
Michigan will send three crews to compete, including the first and second varsity eights, as well as the first varsity four.
With a cold snap plaguing the east coast and much of the midwest, the Wolverines will be glad to head west to Las Vegas, where warmer waters await. Weather forecasts predict a high of 76 for Saturday, with a low likelihood of precipitation. U-M should get its best racing weather of the 2018 season to this point.

Lane 1: MICHIGAN
Lane 2: Texas
Lane 3: Washington
9:30 a.m. -- Second Varsity Eight

• U-M heads back on the road after a weekend competing at home against No. 11 Iowa, No. 16 Indiana and No. 18 Michigan State. The Big Ten Double Dual produced 13 of a possible 14 wins for Michigan, which raced both varsity eight boats, four varsity four boats and both novice eight boats.
