Rain Washes Out Game, Sets Up Sunday Doubleheader

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. -- Steady rain will prevent the No. 17-ranked University of Michigan baseball team from playing Cal State Northridge on Saturday (March 2). The Wolverines and Matadors will instead play a Sunday (March 3) doubleheader starting at 10 a.m. PST.
The first game is scheduled to be carried on CSUN radio while the second game is scheduled to be video streamed. Check for links on the baseball schedule page for updates.Â
With a 2-1 victory on Friday, Michigan was one of just eight teams in Division I to remain undefeated on the young season (7-0). Tommy Henry threw eight shutout innings and has yet to allow a run in 23.0 innings this season. Ako Thomas led off the game with his first career home run.Â
