• This will be the 117th meeting between Michigan and Ohio State, and the 103rd consecutive year that the two schools have met on the gridiron.
• The Wolverines have a 58-52-6 advantage in the all-time series.

Fox will broadcast the game to a national audience. Gus Johnson (play-by-play), Joel Klatt (color) and Jenny Taft (sideline) will call the game. "The Game" will be televised for the 54th consecutive year and 65th overall time. Since 1967, every game in the series has been televised, including 34 national television appearances.

• U-M has 13 players on its roster that are native to the state of Ohio: tight end Erick All (Fairfield), linebacker Matt Brown (Solon), offensive lineman Zach Carpenter (Cincinnati), punter Will Hart (Hunting Valley), offensive lineman Joel Honigford (Sugarcreek), defensive back Caden Kolesar (Westlake), wide receiver Jake McCurry (Solon), defensive lineman Gabe Newburg (Clayton), punter Brad Robbins (Westerville), offensive lineman Nolan Rumler (Akron), and linebackers Adam Shibley (Cleveland), Joey Velazquez (Columbus) and Edward Warinner (Powell).
• After last week's cancellation, the Ohio State game will be the second-ever regular-season football game played by the Wolverines in the month of December. The only previous regular-season game was played at Hawaii on Dec. 6, 1986, a 27-10 victory for Michigan, led by then-quarterback Jim Harbaugh.
• Michigan is averaging 381.8 yards per game of total offense on 131.5 rushing yards and 250.3 passing yards. U-M is fifth in the conference and 45th nationally in passing offense.
• The Wolverines have gained more than 450 yards in three games: Rutgers (495), Minnesota (481) and Michigan State (452).
• Ronnie Bell leads the squad with 26 receptions for 401 yards and one TD. He also paces the team with nine catches of more than 20 yards.
• Running back Hassan Haskins needs five rushing yards to reach 1,000 in his career. He has rushed 184 times for 995 yards and 10 touchdowns.
• Haskins recorded his second straight 100-yard game (17 carries, 101 yards vs. Penn State; 23 carries, 111 yards vs. Rutgers) and the fourth of his career. It also was his third career multi-TD game with scores in the first and fourth quarters.
• Defensive back Gemon Green has at least one pass breakup in all six games this season (nine total). His rate of 1.5 per game is ted for third-best nationally.
• Among the team's five leading tacklers, three are linebackers (Josh Ross, Michael Barrett, Cameron McGrone [out, injury]) and two are safeties (Daxton Hill, Brad Hawkins).
• Josh Ross (53 tackles) continues to be the Wolverines' leading tackler and paced the defense with 12 stops in their game against Penn State. It was his second straight game of double-digit tackles after making 11 at Rutgers.
• Daxton Hill (46 tackles) is the team's second-leading tackler and has been the model of consistency with seven stops or more in each of the last five games. He has reached nine tackles or more in the past four games and set a career high with 11 against Wisconsin.
• Michael Barrett (44 tackles) matched his career high with 11 stops against Penn State. He has hit that mark twice this season (at Indiana).
• The last time U-M played (Nov. 28 vs. Penn State), first-time starters included linebacker Adam Shibley and freshman wide receiver A.J. Henning. Henning went on to make a 28-yard catch down the sideline (his longest of the year) on his way to an early career-high 31-yard performance.
• Senior defensive lineman Kwity Paye returned to the lineup against the Nittany Lions after missing the prior two games due to injury, and he made three tackles in his return to action.
• After making his first career tackle for loss at Indiana, defensive lineman Taylor Upshaw earned his first career sack against the Nittany Lions, a six-yard loss in the third quarter. He's up to 3.0 TFL across the last four games.
• Hassan Haskins' 60-yard run early in the Penn State game was his second this season at that distance (66 yards at Minnesota). He is up to 6.1 yards per carry on the season with a team-leading 380 yards and has lost only five yards on 61 carries all season.
• Blake Corum had 27 rushing yards against PSU to mark a new career best.
• Wolverines are gaining valuable experience on the defensive side of the ball. Through six weeks, eight different players have recorded their first tackles for loss, sacks, pass breakups or a combination of the three.
