Alyvia Jones (Feb. 11)

Big Ten Athlete of the Week -- Junior Alyvia Jones was named the Big Ten Athlete of the Week for the first time in her career after compiling a 3-0 singles mark and 2-0 doubles record at the ITA National Team Indoor Championship. Jones picked up three straight-set wins in singles, knocking off No. 123 Janice Shin of Stanford (6-3, 6-2), Kolie Allen of Ohio State (7-6 (8), 6-1) and Josie Frazier of Illinois (6-0, 6-2). She also grabbed a pair of wins at the top doubles spot with Andrea Cerdan, beating a team from Ohio State, 6-4, and a team from Illinois, 7-5. » Big Ten Release
