Meghan Beaubien (May 18)
Big Ten Pitcher of the Week -- Senior left-handed pitcher Meghan Beaubien posted a 2-0 record with a 0.00 earned-run average in the Rutgers series. She tallied a pair of complete-game shutouts, including a five-inning perfect game in the Saturday (May 15) nightcap. She recorded nine strikeouts and allowed just two hits and no walks over 12 total innings. It is her second straight Big Ten weekly honor and third this season. » Big Ten Release
Julia Jimenez, Meghan Beaubien (May 11)
Big Ten Co-Player of the Week -- Sophomore second baseman Julia Jimenez led the Wolverines with a .583 batting average over their four-game series at No. 23 Minnesota, boasting a 1.083 slugging percentage and .615 on-base percentage. She tallied a pair of home runs and six RBI, including a career-best four in the first of two games on Saturday. She shares the weekly honor with Indiana's Bella Norton. » Big Ten Release
Big Ten Co-Pitcher of the Week -- Senior left-handed pitcher Meghan Beaubien tallied a 2-0 record with a 0.47 earned-run average, 21 strikeouts and a .164 opposing average in U-M's Minnesota series. She appeared in all four games and earned the wins in the series opener -- combining for a shutout while allowing just four hits and striking out eight through five innings -- and the nightcap of Saturday's doubleheader. Alex Storako (April 27)
Big Ten Pitcher of the Week -- Junior RHP Alex Storako posted a 2-0 record in Michigan's series win against Northwestern last weekend, boasting 17 strikeouts over 14 innings and a .152 batting average against. She fanned 10 Wildcat batters in a four-hit complete-game shutout in the series finale. It is her third straight Big Ten weekly honor and fourth this season. » Big Ten Release
Alex Storako (April 23)
Top 25 Finalist for USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year -- Junior RHP Alex Storako was named one of 25 finalists for the 2021 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year. Storako, who is U-M's first finalist since senior LHP Meghan Beaubien in 2018, boasts a 13-2 record, leads the nation with a 13.0 strikeouts per seven innings, and ranks second nationally with a 0.41 earned-run average. Alex Storako (April 20)
Big Ten Co-Pitcher of the Week -- Junior RHP Alex Storako posted a perfect 3-0 record with 29 strikeouts and no walks over 15 innings pitched over U-M's five home games last week. She tossed a complete-game shutout in the opener of Saturday's doubleheader (April 17) and fanned nine in four innings apiece against Michigan State (April 14) and Maryland (April 18). Alex Storako (April 13)
Big Ten Pitcher of the Week -- Junior right-handed pitcher Alex Storako posted a 2-0 record with a 0.50 earned-run average, 21 strikeouts and a .146 opposing batting average in U-M's road series at rival Ohio State. She struck out 11 and allowed just two hits in the first game of Saturday's twinbill before closing out the weekend with a complete-game shutout in Sunday's series finale. » Big Ten Release
Alex Storako (March 30)
Big Ten Pitcher of the Week -- Junior right-handed pitcher Alex Storako posted a 2-0 record with a sterling 0.49 ERA, 23 strikeouts through 14.1 innings in U-M's series sweep at Indiana last weekend. She posted 17 strikeouts and allowed just one hit in a complete-game, nine-inning win on Saturday and shared a shutout in the series finale, allowing two hits and striking out six through five innings. » Big Ten Release
Meghan Beaubien (March 2)
Big Ten Co-Pitcher of the Week -- Senior left-handed pitcher Meghan Beaubien was named Big Ten Co-Pitcher of the Week after posting a 0.67 earned-run average with 41 strikeouts and just two runs and eight hits allowed over 21 innings at the Wolverines' season-opening Big Ten "bubble" weekend in Florida. She tied the Michigan program record with 19 strikeouts in a one-hit shutout against Purdue in the opener (Feb. 26) and added a two-hit shutout against Iowa the following day.
