Team Notes
• Michigan is No. 9 in the latest TYR/CSCAA Top 25 poll, released Feb. 11, after rising as high as No. 3 in the nation late in the season. [ Rankings ]
• One of six Big Ten Conference programs ranked in the top-25, No. 9 Michigan concluded the dual season with a 6-1 record -- its only blemish on the road at Ohio State two weeks ago (Jan. 28).
• In dual competition, the Wolverines defeated Oakland (174-117), No. 14 Missouri (215-86), Purdue (232-68), Grand Valley State (162-76), No. 14 Wisconsin (189-111) and No. 20 Minnesota (179-121) before falling on the road to No. 9 Ohio State in a hotly-contested event on Jan. 28 by a score of 152.5-147.5.
• Two Wolverine women competed over the weekend in Michigan's First Chance Meet. Freshman Abbey Ketslakh competed in the 50-yard freestyle and was just off her personal best time, while junior Katii Tang raced in a 200-yard freestyle time trial and set a career-best 1:46.39.

Last Year: The Wolverines finished second at the 2021 Big Ten Championships, hosted by Minnesota, claiming five individual and two relay titles. Behind gold-medal swims from junior Maggie MacNeil (50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle, 100-yard butterfly), junior Olivia Carter (200-yard butterfly), sophomore Kaitlynn Sims (1,650-yard freestyle) and the 400- and 800-yard yard freestyle relays, the Wolverines wrapped up a runner-up finish (1,326.5 points). Ohio State won the team title for the second year in a row (1,584 points). [ Recap ]
