The No. 7-ranked University of Michigan water polo team will host four visiting teams for the Wolverine Invitational this Saturday and Sunday (March 5-6) at Canham Natatorium, with 10 total games scheduled over the two-day tournament. On Saturday (March 5), the Wolverines will take on Iona at 11:30 a.m. and Bucknell at 2:30 p.m.; on Sunday (March 6) U-M is set to face Saint Francis at 10:30 a.m. and Salem at 3:00 p.m. All four contests will be streamed live on B1G+.

Team Notes
• Michigan (9-7) posted a 2-2 record at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational (Feb. 25-27) last weekend in Irvine, Calif. The Wolverines recorded victories over Indiana (8-6) and UC Davis (9-8).Â
• Maddie O'Reilly leads the CWPA in goals (31), assists (26), and points (57). O'Reilly is ranked number five in the NCAA in assists with 26.
• In the game against UC Davis (Feb, 12), Maddie O'Reilly was involved in seven out of the nine goals, recording three goals and four assists.Â
• Alex Brown leads the CWPA in saves with 111, and ranks number eight in the NCAA.
Opponent Previews
Iona: The Geals come into this weekend's tournament 6-5 on the season. Jordan Van Reeken is Iona's leading scorer with 35 goals and she leads the team in steals with 16. Maeve Ellen Wydan leads the Geals in assists with 16, while Mary Jane Bailey has started 11 games for Geals in goal with 92 total saves on the year.
Bucknell: The Bison are currently 6-5 on the season. Isabelle Monaghan leads the team with 20 goals and Paige Furano leads the team in assists with 10. Annika Lampen leads the Bison in saves with 38.
St. Francis (Pa.): St. Francis is currently 6-10 overall and 1-5 in conference play. In their win over Mount St. Mary's, the Red Flash were led on offense by Emese Szucs and Kimberly Frostad who both scored four goals on a combined eleven shots. Addison Williams had three goals for St. Francis while Maysen Seile and Kayla Rhoads had two apiece. Haiden Lang and Abbie Carter both had one goal to round out the scoring for the Red Flash.
Salem: The Tigers enter the weekend 6-10 overall. Annefleur ten Bloemendal leads the Tigers with 44 goals and 19 steals. Erin Zappia leads the team with 30 assists and has 26 sprint wins for most on the team. Between the pipes, Philippa Piper has 170 saves on the season.
