WALNUT, Calif. -- The University of Michigan women's track and field team kicked off the first of three days at the Mt. SAC Relays on Thursday (April 14).
Alice Hill finished 12th in the invitational section of the 3,000-meter steeplechase, and Corinne Jemison advanced through to Friday's final of the discus competition.
Hill was the lone track entrant on the day, as she clocked 10:31.83 in her 2022 steeplechase debut.
Jemison was the sixth-best performer in the preliminaries of the discus, throwing 51.98m (170-6) on her only legal throw of the day to make the nine-woman final to be held Friday at 3:15 p.m. PDT.
Action will continue at Mt. SAC on Saturday starting at 11 a.m. PDT.
