ROSEMONT, Ill. -- Leigha Brown, Emily Kiser and Laila Phelia of the No. 17-ranked University of Michigan women's basketball team each earned All-Big Ten honors, as announced by the conference on Tuesday (Feb. 28). Brown and Kiser each earned first-team honors from the coaches, marking the third time in school history that U-M has had two first-teamers.
Brown was a consensus first teamer, earning the recognition from both the coaches and the media after earning second-team honors for the last two seasons as a Wolverine. She is one of two players nationally to average at least 18 points, five rebounds and five assists per contest. Brown has scored in double figures 22 times with 13 20-point games and a pair of 30-point efforts. She has five double-doubles on the year, three coming as point-assist double-doubles and two as point-rebound double-doubles. Brown was named the Big Ten Player of the Week one time and to the Big Ten Player of the Week Honor Roll six different times throughout the season.

The game is the second contest of the first session, with tip coming 25 minutes after the completion of the first game at approximately 1:30 p.m. CT.
