
Michigan to Continue B1G Road Swing at Nebraska

The No. 10-ranked University of Michigan women's gymnastics team will continue its road swing Saturday (Jan. 27) when it competes against No. 22 Nebraska at 3 p.m. CT at the DeVaney Center in a Big Ten Conference contest on B1G+.
Notes
• The Wolverines head into week three ranked 10th nationally, while remaining at No. 9 on the floor, ranking 13th on both uneven bars and beam and coming in at 16th on the vault.
• Graduate student Sierra Brooks earned her second straight 9.975 on the beam at Ohio State for the title, while also earning her second straight floor title with a 9.950. This season, Brooks ranks inside the top 15 on the beam (8), floor (10) and all-around (12).
• Senior Carly Bauman earned her second straight uneven bars title as she tied a career-high 9.950 on the event at Ohio State. Bauman currently ranks seventh nationally on the uneven bars with an average score of 9.925.
• Senior Jenna Mulligan has been a solid leadoff for Michigan on the beam as she posted a career-best 9.900 this past weekend against Ohio State.
• Brooks broke the Michigan all-around record of 39.825 held by Natalie Wojcik, Elise Ray, Sarah Cain and Beth Wymer as she scored a 39.850 with her second perfect 10.0 on floor, a 9.975 on vault and beam and a 9.900 on uneven bars against Stanford. For her efforts, she was named the Big Ten Gymnast of the Week for the sixth time in her career.
• The Wolverines wrapped up a five-part series, Michigan Made, which was an all-access look at the months leading up to the Wolverines' 2024 campaign. Weaving interviews with coaches and student-athletes with behind-the-scenes practice footage and a look at life outside the gym the five-episode series will give an unparalleled look into the historic program and those committed to continuing the winning legacy of Michigan women's gymnastics.
