ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 2-ranked University of Michigan women's tennis team (19-3, 7-0 B1G) will wrap up the road portion of the regular season this weekend, heading to No. 25 Wisconsin (15-3, 6-1Â B1G) on Friday (April 12) and Minnesota (10-9, 3-4 B1G) on Sunday (April 14).
Notes
• The No. 2-ranked Wolverines (19-3, 7-0 B1G) hit the road for the final time during the regular season, heading to No. 25-ranked Wisconsin (15-3, 6-1 B1G) and Minnesota (10-9, 3-4 B1G). The Gophers will host Michigan State prior to welcoming Michigan to the Baseline Tennis Center.
• Michigan is the lone remaining unbeaten team in Big Ten action at 7-0 after the Big Ten overturned the result of Wisconsin's match against Northwestern. Michigan sits atop the Big Ten standings, with three teams tied for second at 6-1.Â
• U-M went 2-0 last season against Wisconsin, getting a 5-2 win in Ann Arbor on March 25 and shutting out the Badgers, 4-0, in the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament (April 29, 2023). Michigan is 34-23 all-time against UW and recorded a 4-3 win in Madison the last time the two teams squared off there (March 27, 2022).
• The Wolverines are 35-15 all-time against Minnesota, recording a 4-0 shutout of the Gophers last season at the VTC (March 26, 2023).
• Michigan is in search of its third straight 20-win season, entering the weekend with 19 victories through 22 matches. U-M has 13 20-win seasons in program history, with 11 of those campaigns coming under head coach Ronni Bernstein.
• Michigan has won 11 consecutive matches, marking its longest winning streak of the season. Dating back to a 4-1 win over NC State on Feb. 22 to kick off the streak, Michigan has three wins over ranked teams and surrendered just eight points to its opponents. Â
• U-M has won 24 straight Big Ten regular season matches after getting a 6-1 win at Michigan State (April 6). U-M's last Big Ten loss came to Ohio State on April 1, 2022.
• In U-M's seven conference wins, Michigan has only allowed four points to its opponents and never more than one point in any contest. U-M dropped the doubles point to Maryland and Purdue, with Ohio State and Michigan State each taking a singles match off the Wolverines. Michigan is 25-2 in singles action in Big Ten play, led by a 6-0 mark from Gala Mesochoritou.  Â
• Kari Miller is 27-7 overall in singles and 12-4 at No. 1. She is up to 92 career wins, becoming just the 13th Wolverine in program history to reach 90 wins. With three more wins, she will break into the top 10 in Michigan history without even playing a fall season during her freshman season.
• Jaedan Brown is closing in on becoming a member of the 90/90 club, entering the weekend with 87 singles wins and 85 doubles wins in her career. There are seven players in program history with at least 90 singles and doubles wins in a career.
• U-M is 165-8 (.954) in Big Ten regular-season play under Bernstein. She has led the Wolverines to 10 of the last 13 Big Ten championship titles awarded (no title awarded in 2020), as well as five tournament crowns since taking over prior to the 2007-08 season.
• Michigan stayed at No. 2 in this week's ITA team rankings, with Wisconsin reentering the top 25 at No. 25. The Badgers are Michigan's 13th ranked opponent this season.

Brown and Miller come in at No. 6 as a doubles pair.

• Michigan is 14-0 when winning the doubles point this season and 5-3 without securing the match's first point, getting wins over No. 15 Cal, No. 5 NC State, No. 8 Pepperdine, Maryland and Purdue after falling in doubles play.
• The Wolverines will wrap the regular season next weekend (April 20-21), hosting Iowa and Nebraska at the Varsity Tennis Center. U-M will then host the Big Ten Tournament (April 24-28) for the first time since 2011 and for just the third time ever.
