
Women's Tennis Team, Six Wolverines Earn 2024 ITA Academic Honors

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's tennis team was recently honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association with the ITA All-Academic Team honor. In addition, six Wolverines were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
Kari Miller, Gala Mesochoritou, Jaedan Brown, Julia Fliegner, Piper Charney and Bayley Sheinin were each named ITA Scholar-Athletes, earning a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the 2023-24 academic year.
Michigan earned the team award for the fifth straight season by having a team GPA of 3.2 or above for the 2023-24 academic year.
U-M was honored numerous times throughout the season with various academic honors, highlighted by Miller being named to the Academic All-America first team. Four Wolverines were named Big Ten Distinguished Scholars, with all six eligible Wolverines earning Academic All-Big Ten honors. In addition to Miller, Fliegner and Mesochoritou earned Academic All-District honors.
