
Wolverines to Hit the Road for Nuttycombe Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 26-ranked University of Michigan men's cross country team will return to competition on Friday (Sept. 27) at the Nuttycombe Invitational on the Thomas Zimmer Championship Course in Madison, Wis.
Notes
• U-M remains ranked in the latest USTFCCCA Coaches Poll, moving up one spot to No. 26. The Wolverines are No. 4 in the Great Lakes Region behind Notre Dame, Butler, and Wisconsin.
• This will be the second meet of the season for the Wolverines, who hosted the Michigan Open on Aug. 30.
• Kyler McNatt was the first Wolverine to finish at the Michigan Open, placing third with a time of 15:25.8. Anthony Hancock was fifth (15:27.3) as the next Wolverine to cross the finish line.
• Three others in maize and blue finished in the top 10, including Nolan Clark (15:29.7) in his U-M debut.
• William Beardsley and Luca di Conza are set to make their debut for the Maize and Blue in Madison.
• The Wolverines will run eight kilometers, with the B race to start at 11:40 a.m. CDT and the Championship race to start at 1 p.m. CDT.
• Michigan will remain on the road for its next meet at the Live in Lou Classic hosted by Louisville on Oct. 5.
