Baseball America Preseason All-American (Feb. 4) -- Junior Mitch Voit earned a spot on the Baseball America Preseason All-American Third Team.
Voit returns for his third year with the Wolverines after an All-Big Ten First Team selection last season. He slashed .292/.373/.572 in his sophomore season with 36 extra-base hits including 20 doubles. Voit has earned All-Big Ten Tournament honors in his two seasons with multiple Freshman All-American citations in 2023.
He has contributed on both sides with a 9-4 record over 98.1 innings on the mound and a .281 batting average and 21 home runs at the plate with his two seasons with the program. Voit is just one of two representatives from the Big Ten with Devin Taylor of Indiana being named to the second team.
D1Baseball Big Ten Preseason Freshman of The Year (Feb. 3) -- Freshman Grant Bradley was selected as the D1Baseball Big Ten Preseason Freshman of the Year.
Bradley joins the Wolverines from Napoleon High School in Brooklyn, Mich., where he earned all-state honors his senior year. He was named a Perfect Game Preseason All-Conference selection earlier this year as a relief pitcher, and looks to bring his momentum from the fall into the 2025 season.
The Wolverines were picked to finish fifth in the conference and make an NCAA regional. Dylan Vigue was named as the second-best prospect in the conference for the 2025 MLB Draft and was joined on the list by David Lally Jr. at No. 14 and Mitch Voit at No. 30. Four Wolverines made the 2026 MLB Draft list with Gavin DeVooght leading the way at No. 12. He is joined by Wyatt Novara at No. 14, Colby Turner at No. 16 and Tyler Inge at No. 19. Joining Bradley as an impact freshman is Tate Carey, who made the list at No. 16.
Perfect Game Preseason All-Conference (Jan. 17) -- Junior Mitch Voit returned to the Perfect Game Preseason All-Conference team for his second season, and is joined by sophomore Dylan Vigue and freshman Grant Bradley.
Voit earned All-Big Ten first-team honors last season at utility and earned the same nod here. He started 56 games -- including 10 on the mound -- and led the team with 69 hits with 36 going for extra bases. Voit registered 20 multi-hit contests and earned All-Big Ten Tournament team selections in his first two seasons. He also contributed on the mound posting a 5-3 record with 41 strikeouts and a complete game with a win over UCLA. Â
Vigue was picked as Preseason Freshman of the Year last season by Perfect Game, and this year earned a spot as one of five starting pitchers on the preseason list. Last season, he started 11 games on the mound with four appearances from the pen and struck out 40 batters. Vigue earned his first career win going six innings against Long Beach State, where he struck out a career-high five batters. In his final appearance of the season, he recorded the final out against Illinois to earn his first career save.
Bradley earned the lone relief pitcher spot on the preseason team and joined the Wolverines as a freshman. He hails from Brooklyn, Mich., and graduated from Napoleon High School, where he holds the strikeout record. Bradley was named to the All-State team his senior year, posting a 0.46 ERA, and earned a spot on the MHSAA Dream Team. He had a strong fall campaign for Michigan.
