
Northwestern, No. 23 UCLA on Tap for U-M at Canham Natatorium

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 10-ranked University of Michigan women's swimming and diving team (2-0, 1-0 Big Ten) will return to Canham Natatorium to face Northwestern (2-0, 0-0 Big Ten) and No. 23-ranked UCLA (0-2, 0-0 Big Ten) on Saturday (Oct. 25) at noon. The meet will be streamed on B1G+.
Notes
• Michigan moved to 2-0 on the season by defeating Notre Dame, 218-82, and No. 15 Wisconsin, 155-145, on Oct. 10 at Rolfs Aquatic Center in South Bend, Ind.
• Stephanie Balduccini ranks 10th in the Big Ten in the 100 and 200-yard freestyle events with times of 49.49 and 1:47.40, respectively.
• Hannah Bellard is second in the conference in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:56.37, good for NCAA Championship qualification.
• Rebecca Diaconescu checks in at seventh in the league in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:03.22.
• In diving, Kiarra Milligan posted a team-high score on the one-meter platform against Notre Dame and Wisconsin at 257.45 to take third overall.
• Michigan will take on Northwestern for the 35th time in program history -- with the Maize and Blue leading the series, 28-6.
• The Wolverines and Bruins will face each other for the first time as conference opponents, with the series tied at one win each.
• Following Saturday's meet, Michigan will take on Oakland and Pittsburgh on Nov. 7 at Canham Natatorium.
