March 25 -- Emily Sartz-Lunde
Big Ten Player of the Week
» Emily Sartz-Lunde was named the Big Ten Player of the Week after going 2-0 and clinching a pair of 4-3 wins for Michigan over No. 10 UCLA (March 21) and No. 8 USC (March 22).
» Against No. 10 UCLA, she played an entire third set as the only match left on court, defeating Ahmani Guichard, 6-7 (4), 6-3, 6-3.
» She was down 3-0 in the second set before winning six straight games to force a third set.
» In Michigan's 4-3 win over No. 8 USC, she recorded a 4-6, 7-6 (4), 7-6 (3) win over Krisha Mehendran to clinch the match.
» Also paired up with Piper Charney on the doubles court to go 1-1 with a 6-1 win over USC's Eugenia Zozaya/Jana Hossam.

Big Ten Player to Watch
» Piper Charney was named a Big Ten Player to Watch in advance of the dual-match season commencing later this month.
» Charney is ranked No. 3 in singles following the fall season, where she went 9-3.
» She reached the round of 16 in the NCAA Singles Championship, earning All-America honors for the second straight season.
» Charney also reached the consolation final at the ITA All-American to start the fall season.
» It is the first time she has been named to the Big Ten Player to Watch List.
Oct. 29 -- Gabriella Lindgren
Big Ten Freshman, Player of the Week
» Gabriella Lindgren swept the Big Ten Freshman and Player of the Week honors after going 4-0 in singles and 2-1 in doubles at the RTC Collegiate Invite.
» Lindgren earned singles wins over Sophie Clayton (Clemson), Maya Bordereau (Wisconsin), Emily Deming (Georgia) and Mary Grace Rennard (North Carolina).
» Her 4-0 singles mark on the weekend pushed her singles record during the first fall season of her career to 10-2.
» She went 2-1 on the doubles court with Bayley Sheinin.
