ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan men's lacrosse team graduate student Pace Billings and senior Ryan Cohen received All-America recognition from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association, as announced by the organization on Thursday (May 22).
Billings earned third-team honors, while Cohen garnered an honorable mention nod. The duo was named first team All-Big Ten on April 23.
Billings adds to a growing list of honors after he collected two All-America citations earlier this month. He was third in the Big Ten with 22 caused turnovers, and his 55 caused turnovers ranked him in the top five of the conference. His 1.83 takeaways per game are the second-highest single-season average in program history, while his 55 ground balls rank top-five in the conference and top 10 for most in a campaign in program history.
Cohen tied for third in the Big Ten in points with 46 (20 goals, 26 assists), finishing in the top three for the second consecutive season. In his final campaign, he also broke the U-M program record for career assists (116) while moving into second for career points by a Wolverine (223). Cohen has also tallied at least one point in his 61 outings, the third-most games played in program history.
The pair also helped anchor a Michigan defense that was second in the league and ninth in the nation with 132 caused turnovers.
Teammates during the 2025 campaign, Billings and Cohen will now go head-to-head in the Premier Lacrosse League. Billings was selected with the 19th overall pick by the Denver Outlaws in the PLL Draft earlier this month, while Cohen was recently picked up off waivers and will head to training camp for the Maryland Whipsnakes.
