• With back-to-back 68s (-3), Lauren Sung posted a career-low 209 (-4) at the Wolverine Invitational to finish runner-up in the 81-player field to mark the first top-five finish of her career. The consecutive 68s also gave her the 12th and 13th sub-par rounds of her career, including her fifth and sixth rounds in the 60s.
• In addition to Sung's runner-up finish at U-M's home event, Thomasine Bartholdson carded a career-low 220 (78-69-73) to secure her first career top-20 finish, tying for 14th. Making her collegiate debut, Ng tied for 21st with a 222 (72-76-74), giving Michigan three players inside the top 25.
• In her collegiate debut at the Wolverine Invitational, Zhang competed as an individual and quickly made her mark, posting a 221 (72-74-75) to tie for 16th. • After the Canadian Collegiate, U-M continues its fall slate at the Illini Women's Invitational at Medinah (Oct. 6–7) before closing with a fifth straight appearance at North Carolina's Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational (Oct. 17–19).
• The Wolverine Invitational also offered a preview of the U-M Golf Course, which will host one of six NCAA regional sites in May, marking the second time in four years under head coach Jan Dowling. In her 13 seasons at the helm, Dowling has guided Michigan to eight NCAA postseason appearances, including four trips to the NCAA Finals.
